Advita Karnad '28 India

Advita was born and raised in India. She is a recipient of the 1870 Full Tuition Scholarship at Syracuse University. She is currently pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Economics and is enrolled in the Honors Program.

On campus, Advita is deeply involved in several leadership and academic initiatives. She serves as a Junior Project Manager at Slice Consulting, a selective student-run organization that delivers pro-bono consulting services across industries. She is also Peer Leader for FYS 101 and a Peer Mentor for international freshmen, helping new students navigate their transition to university life. Advita is also an active member of CuseHacks and the Society of Women Engineers.

Outside the classroom, Advita enjoys singing at campus events, drawing, and practicing Spanish, a language she's been learning since she was eight.
